Yep, FWD small block ALL ALUMINUM V8, bolted to a manual tranny. Not sure what model of transmission, but its probably not the getrag we know.

The AWD version is still a FWD with a Pontiac 6000 AWD setup. Engine still sits sideways even on those.

If you had looked carefully, you can easily see the engine is sitting in there sideways. Look for the strut tower, the radiator tank, pretty easy to see it. You are looking at it from the driver's side toward the passenger side. :D

There was a V8 AWD concept as well. No idea on the wherabouts of that one..

The engine and trans in the Feretta are both Isuzu's. :wink:

Wow. The site just died.. It was seriously working up until yesterday. I'm pretty sure I or someone else have saved those articles about the prototypes, otherwise I'll be kind of sad.

Isn't the paint code on the Feretta a production color used on the Base/CL's?

that's just when the car was built that they used. the AWD one has a build date of 2/87

Maybe extra metallic flake in it? I mean the outside has to have been resprayed, those fenders were molded on.
