sent out my internals to have cyrotreated, went with blue clutch's and ordered a pre-done valve body thru zzp, took a custom yank converter and modified it (long story) . Also have a large cooler. I could go smaller on the cooler and add a small fan, but I prefer the cooler I have. Just have to wait a minute before getting on it when it's under 40*F.

I wish ZZP did 60e stuff but he stopped replying to my questions on modifications to the spacer plate... He was supposed to send me photos on which holes to enlarge and such but never did.
Thats one other reason, I'm working with a dead market trans... no one wants to touch it.
I'm happy with my stage 3 RevMax converter though, I don't think I'll have any issues there... it's rated for a very high HP.

My first Yank was supposed to be a 500HP+ converter... Twisted some splines in it at 300hp/tq before this past dyno session.
ZZP was like pulling eye teeth trying to get the parts I was requesting. I ended up just getting the vb and doing the other stuff on my own through local shops. ZZP wanted to sell me a 2500 trans that was rated for no more than 400 crank hp.... I cant see paying that much when I know it might not live long when I can do just about the same myself and save 1500.00. If anything, it aided in me building a second 45E (one I have in there now) .

I don't think there is anything here that you don't have but you can look.

This is the site I found when looking to change the 2nd gear of the 4T60. The don't do that, but they raise the 1st gear on a 4L60 to make it close ratio. They bulid very strong 4L60's and some nice 4T65e's.

Once going 65E, the options are endless and pretty darn cheap. I got everything I couldn't get locally through TCI.

I've always been a fan of TCI.

I'm not a fan of TCI... this is what they told me.
We don’t do anything with transaxles unfortunately. You will want to contact PATC 1-888-877-1008 or

My question
I’m looking to get a new torque converter for my setup and I’m trying to find the best option. I’m currently running a PDQ converter but I’m not that impressed with it. I’ve been told its tweaked to around 3195 stall yet when I leave the line I’m at 3800RPM + and on my shifts from 1st to 2nd I’ll go from 6500 rpm down to 4818 rpm when I’m not spraying… When I’m spraying I have an RPM range of 5100-6700 that’s it. My final drive gear ratios are 10.71:1 for first and 5.75:1 for second. If you ask me the RPM drop doesn’t seem like it’s enough for a converter that should be stalling around 3200. This is in a 1996 Beretta with a heavily modified motor 4t60e transmission running on a 100 shot of nitrous. Cam specs are 216/240@.050 duration .517/.568 lift 112LSA this is on a 60 degree V6 engine 3.4L displacement with a 3.5L top end on it. I’ve currently put down a 12.67@107 last year but the tires were spinning so much I know it can be better. I was wondering if you could make anything for my application, I know you list OEM Replacements for the 4t60e and 4t65e, and what it would cost. My converter is a 10" Diameter, 27 Spline, .824" pilot, 9 1/2" Bolt Circle, it also has a TCC lockup clutch that I would like to keep intact. If you like to start with cores first, a FAFB converter for a 4t60e FWD application is a 2795 stall to start, and it comes with the lockup clutch I want to have. Let me know if there is anything you can do for me and what this would run me.

I got all my hard parts through them on the cheap to have them sent off for treatment.

They gave me the  lol
I've delt with tranmissionpartsusa.com and wittrans.com as well as bulkpart.com for the cheaper hard parts.

Maybe it was because you told them you are modifying a Beretta? I always say cobalt!
