F U-Haul. They WILL NOT rent a trailer or dolly to you if you are going to use it on a Ford Explorer. They had some issue back in the day and they felt that the best way to solve it for future renters was just to not rent to them at all. I found this out AFTER I drove across town to pick up a trailer. Jackasses...
1990BerettaGTZ, Ask the guy to try to jump the fuel pump, or if he can hear it pumping when the key turns. If that is good, I'm sure you have a simple fix on your hands.

Going by their requirements you should be able to fight that one.
Towing vehicle requirements
Must be equipped with a full hard top if it is a sport utility type vehicle. If the top or any portion of the top is removed, or is not a hard top, your sport utility type vehicle cannot be used for towing U-Haul equipment. A full hard top must be in place.
Tow vehicle and trailer lighting must be operational at all times, day and night. All U-Haul trailers and towing are wired with a 4-way flat light connector.
Must weigh at least 750 lbs. more than the vehicle being towed
Must have Class 2 tow hitch (3,500 lbs. minimum weight-carrying rating)
Must have 1-7/8" or 2" hitch ball (3,500 lbs. minimum)
Must not exceed maximum allowable hitch ball height 25"
Must have external mirrors on both sides
Must have fully operational lighting
Maximum recommended speed is 55 MPH
Load trailers heavier in front.
Reduce normal driving speed.
Wear a seatbelt

Just use a small truck and a tow bar and your golden. pop a new battery or wire it up so the car being towed hazzards are on and drive away, hell i used a bonneville and a tow bar to go to wisconsin to tow back my old sunbird worked awesome.

I'm probably gonna end up buying this because I've been talking to the guy and he just told me his ex just threw a car Jack through the windshield, so ya she's alittle psyco, but I still might drive down next weekend and drag her up on my car dolly with the bird

Buy it. That's my idea. And tell him $350, a new windshield is more than a hundred bucks...

around here, he can make $500 back in scrap, about $400 for the car in scrap weight, $65 for the 4 alluminum wheels in scrap, and $50 for the cat... stop lowballing the guy and go get the dam thing if you want it, why does everyone have to lowball people then cry when a car gets scrapped? pay the $500 for it.

Looks who is talking! You offered the guy I bought my GT off of $300 for it and I thought that was kinda insulting so thats why I offered $500 since he was asking $1000 for it.

you wouldnt make him an offer because you said you didnt want to "insult" him by offering $500 in the first place, and he actually thought about it... if you would have offered $400 i bet he would have taken it... this guys asking price is $500 and the car is clean, even has the lip, why lowball him? your gt was not clean when you got it, nor was it a "gtu".
had he had a gtu, and it was as clean as that car, id of just paid the $500.00 for it, hell, if someone had a clean gtz with motor problems id pay $500.00 in a heartbeat... and you yourself know that.

Haha i know GTUs are worth more and sweeter than GTs lol. I just cleaned the engine up more today and started cleaning up the whole engine bay. this car definitely wasnt loved but wasn't beat either. just old and tired. I have a lot of plans for this Beretta since I have to sell the Tempest :'(

Speedy, he's asking $500 and you think that now that he has offered it up for $400 that offering $350 is low balling? Come on man that's just simple pricing negotiations! Especially armed with the fact the he (1990BerettaGTZ) is going to have to fly in to get it I don't see this as low balling at all.
And you have to remember that "around here" is a relative term. Just because you can get get over $500 for scrap on that car where you live doesn't mean that we can anywhere else...

It says the Ad is deleted, so maybe it sold already.. Anyone on here get it?
@GTZChick
What's wrong with the Tempest? Though, I wouldn't sell it if I were you, you'll probably end up regretting it down the road..

where he lives, he certainly can, and i dont why he is flying down? its only a few hour drive from him, be cheaper in gas to just drive... but its not my decision. and if you want to talk to someone about price negotiations, im the king, you can ask gtzchick that, she'll confirm it.
