Looking good ACE. When will you paint the hood?

Who knows. Its nearly time for crazy snowing to be going on soon. May have to wait till next spring. But we will see.

If I can prep for it and get it painted in one day, I can have it done in a weekend, but we have several projects going on right now.

Personally, I would rather wait, shoot the hood and do the touch up areas that I have. Let it all cure good then give the car a once (or twice) over with a decent polisher. At least want it to look good for next year's fest. But beyond that? Don't know. It would really need a lot of work to make it nice, more than the Z did.

hey i was looking for you light projects post, but found this first, oh well. have you seen this before? pretty good price, and comes with some standard adapters that fit into some bulb sockets! i may pic up a few of these. someone installed one in the dome light of his mazda mini truck and said it is a ton brighter!

Hasn't been a whole lot going on with the base lately, other than I'm using it. I still have tons to do to it, once I have a chance to put it in the garage, but that may be awhile now, still have a couple of projects going on in the shop. May not get a whole lot more done till May or June when I get the Z out. Then I can drive that while I work on the Base. At least I hope.

Anyway. Will see. I have people I need to get things bought from, and ship an item or two to a couple. Been a crazy holiday season for me. After all I was gone for over half a month.

Yep, winter is here! LOL

Only thing I have noticed with winter, is the lifter tick is back when its cold. Hoping when I switch it over to Synthetic that will help prevent that. Will see.

some nice snow you got there. we haven't seen snow since the freak storm we got on Halloween which is when i put my snow tires on, but i know the minute i take them off it's gonna snow.

yeah i have been threatening to pull my snow tires off... still not snow in most of southern Ontario here.

We only got about 2-3 inches. And today was the cold one, it got to -4 this morning, but supposed to be warmer tomorrow.

At least the base doesn't seem to mind the cold too much, the Z I think hated cold weather. But it hasn't gotten to -20 or colder yet either. HA! Last year we had a -25 morning in March. I could barely start the Z that day, but it did. Damn did it complain loudly though! Everything was making noise! From the blower, to the PS pump, the belt, the engine's piston slap, you name it!

This cold sucks after being in NC for New Year's! And my truck needs a little work with the coolant temp modifier. I stalled it twice with lean spikes driving to work.

dont fret man. its cold as jeebus here too. i got a few projects i want to work on too. 28 degrees right now. we actually got snow last year, twice. hope it doesnt happen again. i had a jeep then.

not sure the retta would act right if it gets any colder. its finicky in the cold. funny though, i get better pick up when its cold out.

I was doing a bit of browsing around and came across these new headlights, so I figured I'd pass this on to you, as it seems your going to be needing it again. The ones your looking for are a bit high priced in my opinion, but you could always just get a pair of the right ones for cheaper than one of the old ones.
