I hear you! It's 7F out. Don't really want to go to the junk yard in that weather.
EDIT: It's 5F out right now and going to get to 0F... Snow again Wednesday Thursday. Great. Love winter!

26* and snow. Just replaced the front left ABS sensor. Wires ohm out fine. Start it up and as son as I get to a certain speed(between 3 and 5 mph) the light is back on. So annoying.

Probably harness, just replace as much wiring as possible and use solder, dont butt connect or twist wires together.

Somewhere I heard that the ABS wires have to be a certain resistance, or something weird like that. Maybe they were saying that if it was longer/shorter that would affect it? Certainly it wouldn't be a "resistance" wire, but I've never cut one open to see what it was made of.... Hope you get it figured out. Then again ABS really isn't that useful. It never kicks on for me unless there is snow/ice on the road and that's when the drums lock up from sitting for a while until it burns off the rust. No way in hell have I ever got the brakes to lock up on dry pavement. Even with 185mm tires! The stock brakes suck that much.

There shouldn't be any resistance really. It's such a simple system, just so annoying to diagnose. It's a bad plug at the wheel sensor. I got a plug and some wire off a sunfire so I will solder that on tomorrow.
I will also be instaling the braided clutch line. I will let u know how it changes things because as far as I know nobody has ever used one yet.

Stock brakes do suck. I think the base may be able to lock them up, but not the z26. All new brake lines, rebuilt m/c, ebc pads and rotors and the pedal feels like crap. The base is stock and the brakes feel great. I don't get it
