Looks awesome so far - any engine mod plans?

i will be using the steering column from the camaro..... and the camaro gauge cluster as well as a stripped down version of the camaro interior wiring harness..... the engine is already pretty well built ....355 cui (5 over) all forged eagle bottom end, LT4 hot cam and some LT4 head work, 32# injectors, k&N intake, full exhaust, long tube headers, and a hyper tech power programer. she was a beast before she went under......should feel even more power with the manual trans now too !!!!!

LT4 hotcam & heads should make it pretty quick!
That 6spd install is super clean. I guess that's what you get with a 4th-gen floorpan! haha

...yeah the trans went in pretty good ......took a lil while to line up the input shaft for it to slide in .....but she went....

My '89 RS (Third Gen) Camaro came with a lot of add-on parts, including a tubular-steel torque-arm. This particular one was designed to attach to a saddle that bolts to the underside of the tranny tunnel. I think the previous owner (if that is who did the work -he was kind of an idiot) put it in wrong because the car 'clunks' every time that torque arm unloads, but overall it is a nice piece. I am sure something like it would be available for the fourth-gen cars too...

BMR makes a torque arm for the 4th gen - but not to the correct length that jjanke needs.

Dat racing seat - great support in the corners - and can be used for storage!
How are the steering column and seat going to line up with the doors?
Will you be sitting in the back seat?

i really dont think it will be much further back in the interior space...... the 4th gen Camaro was a relatively cab forward (short dash to axle) rear wheel drive proportion. only one way to find out.......

if somebody measures on their beretta from there center of front hub on rim to bottom edge of steering wheel ....or leading edge of front seat (in side view) we could get an idea if its in the ball park......not that it matters now
