I found why our boosters are so deep... to clear the steering rack. They are almost 10 inches deep!
So remote mounted nissan booster and cylinder seems like a good idea.

You won't fit a 660 with a fwd pan and a k member. Need 90v6 or a deeply modded pan

Do what Dave did and you can fit it... He has a 3500 in his Camaro.

It's all about the distance between the hood and the ground at ride height. I want to be pretty low so I need the oil pan flush with the floor boards, the lowest point

barry, if i was you, i would look into driveshaft lenghts with your set up to see if you can find a drive shaft that will fit in there, and inch or two forward or backwards may save you tons of money later on having custom driveshafts made.

Driveshaft is a simple fix. I have a sick driveshaft shop near by. Like 200 bucks and I'm in business. I have a camaro shaft and a Nissan shaft here so they can re use the ends

I agree with speedy, you can order conversion U-joints with two different sides ends! Way cheaper than having a custom drive shaft made up... Most auto part stores should have catalogs with available end sizes listed, or there are plenty of places online as well. Trust me, I've built plenty of custom cars/trucks.

Spend the money where its needed, that sucker is going to be spinning like a MOFO for 99% of its life and mostly as about as fast as it can go so he might as well just buy a fully custom made one that doesn't have conversion parts... Weld the front GM splines on and the rear Nissan u-joint setup and he'll be golden.

A driveshaft is not a place to skimp. If they fail, they do things like fly through the back seat...
Looks good Barry!

It's a conversion U-joint with 2 different sized ends, most of the people that use them are hardcore off-roaders/racers! An unmodified OEM driveshaft with custom off-road/race use u-joints will be stronger and cheaper than the alternative! Let me kindly inform you that you don't have a clue what you're talking about in this matter...
Key points: *Stronger *Cheaper *Enough said...

Nissan uses a 4 bolt flange on the diff and the u joint looks non replaceable
