Probably will have to rebuild the P/S pump then. It is a dirty job, but not that difficult, or you can just live with the noise... Really not all that bad to have to deal with either way -glad the leak was an easy fix for you. Despite not being a hatch-back, I still think you have a pretty cool car. Now you just need to drop a turbo under the hood...

A Corsica with barely any paint left = the penultimate sleeper.

Damn right. If I had money I'd have a newer one with my trans,3400 and FE3(to name a few things).

With this ridiculous weather, the Corsica sounds better on cold starts than the 03 (see pics) Trailblazer with ~9k less miles. It also has a better battery.

Sounds better in what way?

The Trailblazer has a lot of squealing accessory bearings. Sounds like the worn out brakes parade. Not to mention the valvetrain noise from the DOHC VVT 4.2

Ouch, wouldn't want to mess with that!

There was a TSB about the accessory drive alignment and belt noise on the 4.2.
The dealer never could get the squeal out of my dad's old 2006 Envoy (5.3).

I've got a buddy that works at a GM dealer so i'll ask about that TSB.
Thanks!
