checking rock auto, it lists a rear 5 speed mount but no 5 speed front mount. Is there a possibility that the mount that connects to my custom mount is the same and only the rear mounting bracket is different?

The brackets I have just posted in the WTB would it be possible these are the same on a 3.1 5 speed cavalier or where they L body specific

This mounting bracket defiantly looks different than mine this is out of a 5 speed beretta a friend of mine has

The automatic mounting bracket only fits though one of the holes on the jack shaft

Will see if he can find one at the junk yard but I am not going to hold my breath

Quick ref to 'otc' parts that require drivetrain option in selecting of replacement parts:

1989 CHEVROLET BERETTA 2.8L Manual Transmission Mount
ANCHOR Part # 2603

1989 CHEVROLET BERETTA 2.8L Automatic Transmission Mount
ANCHOR Part # 2601

1989 CHEVROLET BERETTA 2.8L Engine Motor Mount
ANCHOR Part # 2477
(Rear Right; 3 speed trans)

ANCHOR Part # 2708
(Rear Right; 5 speed trans)

It will not list brackets as a replacement item since it's not an expendable part, however, you should be able to call a GM parts clerk and cross reference the brackets #'s

I've attached what I currently could find on the interwebz.

The exhaust manifolds posted as 3X00 and 3100 are in fact for a grand prix and not only flow just as bad, if not worse than a Beretta rear manifold, but also do not work on a Beretta. The manifold that has "better" pointed at it is a 3400 rear manifold and does work with a custom DownPipe on all berettas. A beretta 3100 rear manifold will fit easier than the 3400 one but both front manifolds are the same.

I am using currently a 3100 grand prix manifold with a custom downpipe, it seems fine and clears everything. I am not overly concerned about flow, just to have a nice tight exhaust system. Also still running a catalytic converter. The downpipe is a little close to the shifter cables, but i have read this is somewhat normal.

So for my notes that i am going to attempt to post when my car is finally running, a 3400 venture van rear manifold works totally fine for a 3400 swap.
