Yeah... its gonna get tougher!! oil went up tday another 11 bucks... to 139 per barrel and is slated to hit the 150 mark by july 4th!! hello mid 4 dollar gas!

i think those gas/oil nazi's should be kept an eye on more.. they should only be allowed a profit ceiling andif they exceed that ceiling they should have to lower gas prices to compensate for that.. so they dont go past that top line!!!

The track we go to is about an hour away also. We sure don't have the good turn out that we used to. It really sucks!

I noticed this year a lot of people trailered there cars to the strip than drove them.  Also lately, back road street racing is more frequent.  Mostly due to the shorter distance to travel to that "back road" than to the 1.5hr trip to the nearest crappy drag strip.

$4.27 is depressing in good 'ol NY. I remember seeing gas at $1.25 when I was a kid. geez, our closest decent 1/4 mile strip is an hour and a half away!
I'm glad I only live 3 miles from the dealership I work at!

We're going between about 3.95 and 4.05 here, it just depends on the day.  Just wish the weather would stop being so shitty so I could ride the bike to work more... 70mpg > car.

Hell yeah... it's quadrupled in the last 10 years.  I started driving in 1998 and for the first few months I had my license gas was 79.9 cents per gallon, then it went up to like 85.  I think I was a senior in high school when it broke a dollar.

Yeait's getting really out of hand. It's $3.89 here but a couple miles north of me it's $3.99. I cant believe that the government is doing NOTHING about it either. The oil companies are making record profits and yet we are paying the most for our gas that we EVER had to.
