For some reason I thought you had 18s, not 17s. 225/45R17s are almost dead-nuts stock height.

I didn't buy the full size version... Maybe I should.

I'm looking to get headers on it.. I need someone to duplicate a set of long-tubes I already have, but in stainless with the right flanges.

Cliff you should get some of the WOT/SDI headers... That will cure your problem!

I don't see much difference looking at the front and rear wheels... doesn't look like 225 in rear or 245 in front looks same, I don't see the rear super stretched or the front bulging... strange.

You won't see a huge difference like that because 8.5" is within the acceptable range for both tire sizes.

I have 225's on the 18"s on the orange car and they looked stretched to death, much like 205's look like on 7" wide wheels. 225's will go on 7" wide wheels too but have more bulge. I know the 18"s are not 17"s, but still they aren't 8.5", (actually don't know wtf they are yet) but I'd think 20mm difference you'd see.

Did I read it right that the net front offset is 20mm??? That just doesn't seem right.

I do believe that's the offset as I figured it (38mm spacer).

The tires may also not look stretched because of the way the rim protector is designed into the goodyear tires..
