I have been in the chat since it was mentioned here, we really need to incorporate this into the site. I troll the site all day, never get a chance to check IRC at work. I have never successfully been on and talking to anyone since we launched. Can we please look at this again spend some time and get the community going again instead of giving up saying our cars are old?

Been pretty dead in the chat lately. I've been checking daily around 9-11 pm MST and the same three people are always logged in, but apparently AFK. Weba, themixer, nmberetta, and sometimes Ace.

I don't think my Beretta's are "too old". I'm in the middle of a top end rebuild on my Quasar and cleanup and paint. Check my thread out man. In the Member Ride's section. Good stuff going down there! Other people are doing some interesting work too!

I never said the cars were old, that has nothing to do with it being incorporated into the site. It will not be part of the site in the foreseeable future for the reasons listed previously.

I check the channel every so often when I'm wake from 7am to 1am, i can just see people coming in, staying there for a minute and then going out, that's not the way IRC works, you are supposed to stay logged on and wait for other people to come, or nothing happens. Just leave in on the background.

i have been an irc user since 1994, we just need a window at the top of the main site maybe in java?

Thats been discussed and there is so much back end needed to support a java chat window that it's not worth the headache.

Ah well. I do drop by there occasionally, when I get time, but it has been less often lately due to the workload.
