'91 GT/Z just recently turned 135K. Transmission replaced with a salvage yard trans this spring but have no idea how many miles were on it. Just happy its up and running again after a 3 year hibernation.

Headliner goes in this tues. Then maybe forsale. Seems the car is not tickling the boys fancy. After all the work I have done to it.

89 gtu...274,202...original engine...rebuilt tranny about 100k ago...just restored almost every single part on the car and installed new rocker panels and the rear main brace cross bar its called???...new fuel injectors & ac compressor going in later 2day! Ac hasn't worked since the 90's! Lol

Why dont you just keep it for yourself?

93- 273,723 was the last od reading before i parked it where it sits now waiting for my time.

92- has 274,400 on the od. actual milage is around 176,200

1990 Chevrolet Beretta INDY 140,000 has a replacement 3.1L. v6 from a 1992 Buick Regal because the previous owner let the main seal leak the oil out and the main bearings were shot and i didn't feel like repairing it, i got a new engine with lower miles, only had about 63,000
I redline this engine all the time! had it up to 7,000 once but that was an accident, didn't realize it was not in gear...lol

I put Lucas in every fill up, but the problem with lucas is that it plugs up O2 sensors...
I also put Fuel Injector & Fuel System cleaner in the gas every time I change my oil.

My oil I use 1/2 Fossle oil of a descent brand, and 1/2 Mobile 1 Full Synthetic, along with 1 FULL bottle of that prosperous additive to combat the ILSAC-GF4 requirement garbage they invented...
I change my oil about every 3,000-4,000 miles.
Winter: 5w-30
Summer: 10w-40

Coolant I use the 4 year green stuff and change it every 2 years. 50/50 I mix my own.
I also add 1 bottle of the silver leak sealer recommended by GM for GM models with the clean out and new coolant. I wash the system each change.

Transmission I use full synthetic Dextron 3 or better...

I use regular 87 Octane gasoline...

I also start looking into whats not correct when i notice any hint of missing, to minimize exes wear!

My 94 base has 103,680 on the clock. It leaks oil out of the oil drain plug and pan. The way it leaks I have no idea but its only a drop or two. Radiator just replaced and coolant flushed runs more cooler

88 GTU with 67,713. 2.8 V6, 5spd. Mobil1 only.

My 93 base has 138,518 miles original engine and tranny but in desperate need of a tuneup.

1993 Chevy Beretta GTZ 3.1 L .... 172k, running VERY strong, burns little oil too!
