I don't think this one will have the symptoms mine had, as far as stuff being worn from sitting. From what the dealer says, the lady who traded it did drive the car regularly, just not very far, so it hasn't been sitting. I'd also question rust as an issue, due to the location of the car, as I don't know if it was garaged.

Short drives around town is not always good for a car either.

Better than sitting and never getting driven at all. Even the Indy museum runs EVERY pace car they have in the building 4 times a year for 15 laps on the track.

My 94 quad Z26 has been in WI and MN it's whole life and has 70k more miles than this 96, and my car sat broken for 7 years and has no rust. I've see plenty of clean WI Beretta's and I've seen plenty of rusty ass California Beretta's. It's all in how the car was used and cared for more than where it's been living. <--- somebody will argue this point for sure, lol

It's worth what someone will pay for it and that's all there is to it really. Otherwise I'd say, more than $2k, less than $4k lol

I would say if your patient you would find the right buyer that would give you $4000 - $4500 for it.

I grew up in Wisconsin. Not too many cars that are rust free up there at all. Period. You won't bullshit me. I lived there over 18 years. There are a RARE few that never saw winter, rain, or hardly outdoors but damn few.

the indy has been in an accident, and it's auto (when there was a standard available)... so a collector might not picks yours over others... but it does have the sunroof, that is nice, and overall good condition.

The wreck, I assume that took place, did no structure damage (no signs of pulled out this or that stuff, no wrinkles in stuff that would tell you it got his), jsut appears it had some new fenders or something done and they took the cheap route and painted only what was needed.
Oh well. jsut curious

I would agree with you if there were alot of these still rolling around or sitting in someones yard with a stick or auto. Noting that most all indy cars are gone (hell most Beretta's), I don't think the auto makes a diff with the Indy cars unless by act of god there are two in the same 500 mile radius and one is a stick the other is an auto,

Just my .02

Here's a more reasonably price low mile (55,000 miles) 96 Z26!

Yes, the color combo sucks IMO, but still it's a car that has had only a oil changes worth of driving put on a year, Mmmmmmm!

Now to me that is worth about 3500 to 4k. Low miles, appears clean, is a 1996 (newer). This crap confuses me. Ha ha ha

Thats a very good deal right there. I agree about the color combo, I really can't stand the red interior, the red fades like no other interior color.
