I haven't started ANY crap lately, I'm merely just stating a technical fact that is backed up with multiple instances, and just because you think you're some master mechanic doesn't always make you right! Capish?!

Swapping an ECM is easy especially if you have another on hand or if you can borrow one! To continue throwing new parts at a car that is already all new parts is just silly! Yes new parts can still be bad, but come on!

I just shared an opinion, an option and an idea, based on experience with similar issues with the same or similar quad cars! If he wants to shoot me down, he can, but it's not your call, thanks.

The only difference of opinion I may have on swapping ECMs is that you have to make sure the profile chip in them match your vehicle build. I do know that this profile chip can be swapped, from ecm to ecm. The BOXes are all pretty much the same build for the same year.

According to the info I have, you could technically pull an ECM from a 4 cylinder base, go to a V6 model, swap the engine profile chip, and bam. No issues. Providing the ECM's are on the same build level. (IE OBD)

This info came from the beretta repair manual I have. Thought it was kinda cool actually.
