Yeah thats the vin from the original donor body, which was voided out, there is no real vin for that configuration which is why you can't "legally" register/drive it. Same goes for the AWD setup. The tagged vin is voided and there is a experimental tag riveted on the door jamb.

I'm pretty sure I could register one of these in here as long it has VIN :)

It has a vin but it points to nothing so when entered into any DMV system it will void out... I highly doubt it can be registered unless someone swaps the vin.

But whatever, everyone wants to vin swap these so until someone actually gets their hands on one and does it I will continue to say they will never end up registered and driven on the street.

I've only heard of the twin turbo one being driven because the guy owns a dealership and he puts dealer plates on it to take it out for a ride.

If anyone has the June 1998 edition of Hot Rod Magazine thats where they had info about the V8 AWD Beretta At least using the wayback machine to look at Bstuff's page on the concepts thats the magazine edition thats mentioned.

http://web.archive.org/web/200210191422 ... ypes.shtml

Unfortunately the links do not show up as to what they were linked to.

crap I just watched the vid on the Barret Jackson sale of the TT v6 AWD concept, It was a Bill of sale only, NO title. That makes it a bit more complicated.

You think Finnish DMW has\had a sync to any american database? I'd be just another exotic import vehicle
Actually there is a shortcoming, due to local laws, car's model year is not set by when it's built, instead it's when it's first registered, so no plates on the car before, would mean it's 2012 model and has to meet all the current laws =@
