Good to see im not the only one that has problems with oil pans on 3100s lol.

Im glad to see you were able to get the pan fixed. I had to do the same to the GTZ when i first pulled the motor apart. Had the same type of cracking and hole punched in it. Couldnt figure it out for the longest time why i was loosing oil till i stuck my head under there :(

No oil leaks from the rear main now I'd bet. That's one good thing.

Your still wanting to sell the Z, after all the hardwork you have devoted to it? Makes me sad panda :(

A 95 or 96? That would be newer.

Actually, what is really going to seem weird is having to buy 2 or 3 more, to make the car I want.....

A 1996 body with the OBD II harness.

Equipped with a 3400/5 speed/full Z cluster.

And have it mostly look like....

A 1990 Yellow Indy, from the decals, to the GEs, to the wheels and the seats.

That is what I really want. :D

And I'm talking a from scratch rebuild, even going to have the OD reset to 0 when its done, but unless I can wind up with some spare change and a few part cars, not going to be happening anytime soon. *sigh

True, I have some serious full history with the Z. But in the end, there is nothing more really I can do with her, and it would really make some younger person a nice first car. Sure I will miss it, and probably regret it, but that's life.

Setting the bar high? Maybe.

What can I say, I know what I want to have. :p At least for now. Could change a year from now, but that doesn't mean I won't be working to acquire the parts to build it eventually.
