What are you still waiting on?
I actually got some good stuff done last night including wiring in my inverter, so now I can clean up the bay in some area's fix the AC clutch, and then think about dropping in the motor... Trans second since I need to get my rear header on.
I also installed V-band clamps on the end of my header, and removed my cutout... I'm going to be going with just pulling my cat section of pipe completely out at the track and clamping on a 45* or soft 90* bend to dump the exhaust... That way I don't have to worry about ground clearance when driving the car normally, and two v-band clamps are easier to remove than three wingnuts too! lol
I'll get some pics tonight now that I have WiFi in my garage.
Just ordered the clutch bearing for $20 vs the whole pile for $80+... I figure why replace the whole clutch if only the bearing is the issue.

Once I get it and I install it, test the parts all out, you'll know then..... A time slip may be backing up the wait too pending I can finagle personal time to do so.
Throw that extra 60 bucks towards the garage fridge!!!

Is that with gas or shielded wire? Looks really good.

Mig gas, I won't touch a flux core

I need to get my bottle filled. Flux core+ aluminized piping makes for some crappy looking welds for me.

I do love that header man. All your work is top notch, but that is normal.
Hey if you run out of things to do I have my old trans if you want it(lol).

You paying for shipping? LOL I have a POS one sitting in my garage (from when I built someone else a 99 trans and they left this one with me.) that I actually stole the 2nd drum out of because it had less wear than any other one that I found.
I'm going back out there soon, and I may just have the whole driveline in by tonight.... I hope it goes that well. I'm NOT saying it will be running tonight but if it all goes smoothly I could have it fired off... Still a bit to do running gear wise before I can drive it though. Bleed brakes, stuff like that where I may need a second person.
