Yeah I dont have a spare 7x crank to compare to. It SHOULD be the angle between cylinder 1 trigger and TDC. I cant see why it would be anything but 0 though?

Wait... the angle between TDC and the first trigger? The sensor is positioned in the block so that at TDC the first trigger is right at where the sensor is... I don't think it has any specific measurement other than that, I really doubt they tried to make it 60

Well heres a little update.
I have not broken a starter in a long time.
Car is running great.
I just made a "mid" exhaust hanger like pat has to stop my exhaust from sagging.
I need to get my car inspected next week. All I need is front pads and a "fake" EGR system and it should be good.
It will get the sniffer this time. Im pretty excited to see if my scratch built tune will pass emissions. We will find out!
Beat a IS300 tonight pretty badly. Raced a Trailblazer SS from a dig to 110 both times and neither of us could get a fender on each other. I guess thats about right, the TBSS is rated at 14.0 down the quarter...

So what are you doing for an EGR?

The question is, do you have a CAT? If so then the tune is almost not an issue unless your idling black smoke its so rich. Woody's I'm not so sure about... His wide-band was reporting 10.8 at idle... THATS RICH!
My car with my cam they thought would have no way to pass the sniffer, but it passed with flying colors... they were all in awe... I was like why? It has a CAT on it and it idles at a A/F 14.5-14.7 and same for cruise. Its only 12's when at WOT... LOL

Mine is rich as balls and with the cat you can't tell by eye or really even by nose. It'll just plug the fucker up in short order I'm sure. haha

Yes I forgot to mention, I did put my cat back in. I idle 14.5-15 as well. Cruise is usually in the upper 14's too. I have read that timing car really play with emissions too.
The funny thing is that the base passed the sniffer with a bad coilpack. It was sputtering on the dyno. When I got the data sheet back it said it ran better numbers than it was supposed to back in 1995!
So I don't think it will be an issue.

I have a stock 3500 egr valve bolted to the manifold, but not hooked up to anything. It remains closed when not in use so I didnt make a blockoff plate or anything. It looks legit at first but then you see that its not plugged in. I am going to cut a pigtail off my 3500 harness and plug it in then run the wires and tape it somewhere so it looks like its all hooked up.

Thats why I like having it all functional, I just shut it off in the ECM...

It passed emissions.... on the second try.
I had to lean it out pretty badly to get her to pass. I have all the numbers at home, but it JUST passed.
The dyno puts WAY more load on the engine than I would expect. I data logged it when he did it so I should check that out to see what map it was at.
It cruises at 14-15 AFR but is pretty rich when you labor it in the lower rpms.
Everything else safety passed obviously.
Then I went to east coast bash at englishtown for drifting and had an awesome time.

Bye Bye Barry!
Thank God. A month of staring at that damn turquoise car that is scarily similar to the one in the other half of my garage!
But it's OVER NOW. I feel better already.
