I'm always impressed when Rodney is working on my car and by simply using a few keystrokes you can hear the car change.
And yes between Rodney, SuperDave and Issaac there is a wealth of OBD-1 knowledge on here.
Be a good move Woody, although Barry's head will likely explode!
Some day I will understand it all.................NOT!

I'm pretty handy with a computer, I think I can figure it out.
Real-time change is what would be so great. I'm on the search for a used Autoprom. Found one on fullsizechevy, but haven't heard back from the guy yet.

For anyone who is interested: here's a datalog of the "SS" today. Cold start, cruise through the village, idle at pull off, quick WOT, cruise back through village.
http://files.ericwood.net/wideband_5-12.csv
Car is super rich, and the idle gets funky when warm, but the wide open tune isnt terrible: 11.9-12.5. Could be better, but it could be worse.

5800 shift? You panzy... LOL
sample 3994
It is somewhat rich at WOT... 11.8 is not ideal... but the next gear was 12.4 which isn't all that bad.
Did you send this log to Dave and ask him what he wants to see?

If it was a quad I would say shift 7 grand, but oh well. Hell drop one of those RX7 wankel engines in the damn thing. Then you can shift what? 9-10k!!! LOL

hahaha I wasn't timing it or anything.
I sent it to Dave, along with a couple other questions a few days ago with no response yet.
How do you like some of my 92 INTs? The last log I did had some as low as 83 at idle when I was leaving it alone to stall. The wideband and stock o2 seem to disagree in a few spots, but one thing is for sure: it's RICH.

don't even look at your stock o2 when it comes to rich... They are useless. Trust the wideband.
And you are all sissy's... I shift at 6750

LOL Well I did when I got my 13.996 N/A

There is very little past 6000 on a stock cam. I've tried many times.
Not to mention the valve springs will be looking for help.

Yet your transmission hates you (even when it's put together right), go figure?!?

I was looking at the road ahead of me and realized "holy crap, first gear is over quick" so I shifted by ear.
I'm dying to get this thing to the track, but I really would like to save some fueling corrections before then.
Still nothing back from Dave yet...

Just saw on v6z24 that Dave has a new little one! So I can't complain about the delay. Hoping to hear from him soon though.

No it hates me when put together wrong... I fixed it and now all is well. The high rpm didn't hurt it back then and it shifted fine then.

Here are a couple pics of my datalogging setup. It is a really cool tool for tuning. Just wish I could make changes on the fly.
Dave just got back to me tonight, so hopefully I'll have it straightened out soon. I think I'd still like an autoprom or something to give it a shot myself.
