Will let you know if I ever find it. Right now she sits. It even blew one of the rad seams the last time I drove it while it was running like it is. Whether it blew it from pressure or because of a defective rad though I don't know. I should really pressure test the last 2 cylinders and see what I have though. Time and other things getting in the way....I hear you on that. Looked at it the other day for a little....now the motor just revs up out of the blue and comes back down to idle. Maybe it's mad because I'm looking at new cars LOL!

Have you checked the actual fuel pressure? I know you can hear the pump.. but doesn't really mean you have the right amount of pressure. Have you checked the wiring to the cam position sensor? (Behind the p/s pump). It's common for the wires to break right at the sensor and arc together.

Ok, did a compression test...all 6 cly's good. Also checked wires on cam position sensor,as Z26T said to do...good. With the motor having good compressoin, but runs like it has a dead clyinder....thinking I may have a bad fuel injector? Going to check them next

What did the plugs look like?

Plugs all looked good....just put them in 3 weeks ago.

Did you ever get the EVAP lines checked?

Well, after weeks of working on the car I fixed my problem....got a new car.

Yep, that will work too. In fact that is what I need to do. Thinking about just selling both of these.

I agree with you guys, but as in my case, I have already wasted lots of time trying to pin my problem down. And honestly I don't want to anymore. Sad? Sure. But that is just how I feel about it at the moment. lol

Well, not looking to get rid of the car...at this time. I like the Z but, at this point and time I dont have the time to play with it to fix it. I have other cars/trucks to drive put not as daily drivers as the Z was. When spring gets here I'm looking to find the problem, fix it, and then fix a few other little things and have the car repainted! and tag it again.
