i have fine metal filings around my AC Compressor,and now see the air don't blow cold no more.and the metal is being thrown into the belt and harmonic balancer area,any ideas?
Yeah, your A/C bearing is dying. Probably have a jingling noise when the car is running that you can hear. That won't be the timing chain. Replace the whole thing. Pump is probably shot too. Mine was when I changed my bearing out, and now I have to change the pump too.
If I have to buy a used motor that's fine.I just want to eliminate all problems first,I have seen many on here that have same problems as mine,changed out there motor and it turned out being something else.(cracked flywheel,busted motor mounts,)

I am wondering if my lifters have that water/oil gunk from when the gasket went out,maybe they are blocked solid,I would think my rocker's should have alot more oil on them.It's dry up there,but hasn't been ran that much either.

If I blow this motor up then I will know what to fix,Then I will get another motor.

Car is very well worth fixing body is straight,no dents,factory 16" wheels.only thing is the rear spoiler is faded.

Best way to pull my 3100????? top or bottom?

As I haven't pulled my engine yet, I don't know the best way to remove it. But it can go both ways. From under you have a bit more to take apart, but it will probably come out smoother, whereas from above you have less room to work with, but you won't have to drop front rails, etc. At the factory they are brought in from below.

And a tip. "Motor" is a term used to identify electric motors, not engines. Motors don't use fuel, they use electricity. Engines are anything that uses fuel directly to make power.

you don't want this spoiler,paint is faded badly,rest of car,paint is great.

The Leds in the 3rd brake light are troublesome. I had to replace the LEDS with 194 style bulbs.The LEDS corrode.

Doesn't matter about the paint go to members rides and check out 88 2.8 *Work in Pregress* and you can see bad paint its getting rid of that ugly window 3rd break I'm all about it!!

The only thing is from below you need to get the front end 4 to 5 feet in the air to clear and get it out from underneath.

I think the clutch is falling apart,I can see pieces of it on the rails.I could get another compressor for 10.00 at a pull a part yard.

I have ran the car in the driveway with the belt removed to eliminate that as part of the problem.

I added a rear spoiler to my Honda Accord with the Leds to get rid of the window 3rd brake light,if i remove the window 3rd brake light i can see into the trunk on the rear deck,nothing some new covering couldn't fix,I just left it there and unplugged so it don't light up,15.00 at a U-Pull It Yard.Thought I had a Pic but guess not,sorry.
