How would I find that out? I have and engine on both sides of this one so it isn't that accessible. Is it marked somewhere easy to see?

Pull the idi cover off the top of the motor via the 4 13mm bolts . Once that's off, look for the Casting number on the bottom of the head next to the timing chain cover. The last 3 numbers are hopefully 086.

I'll check it out sometime this week and let you know.

I checked it out today and the last three numbers in the place you described are "086".

Need to sell this stuff.
I still have to confirm part numbers but I believe the gas tank was to replace the one in my 94 Quad.

If it was to replace the tank on a 94, then it will not work on my 89...the numbers are different.

Hey, do you still have the headlight covers? Would you budge at all on the price of them? only because I found a brand new pair for $29.99 on ebay and $40 seems a bit high to me for a used set. Also, what would shipping be to Selinsgrove, PA 17870?
Thanks

interested in engine, can u confirm in any way that the cams are W41, and not just the IDI cover.

I can definitely move on the price but shipping is the problem. They will cost me $15-20 to ship in the 48 and that doesn't leave much room to match the price of whatever you found.

I can definitely check if it doesn't require pulling anything else apart. I really don't want an engine in pieces in my garage. Let me know if there's any way I can help you figure that out.

I want the engine too or just the camshafts. Only way to confirm is the remove them and have a machine shop measure for specs,
Still got those head lights?

Don't part the engine out, that would be a complete waste of a perfectly good w41 specimen...

No. I'm not cool hands but am interested in flywheel and pulley. Is that flywheel aluminum?
