I don't know yet... I haven't had enough time to think about it or test anything. I've been too busy at work to even want to think about going in the garage when I get home.

I'll just wait and see then.

by the time I get home I just want to lax and pass out.

Well last night was the first shop night I've done in a while on the roundy round race car and it was nice to get out and do something... I think I will be hitting my garage some night next week to get something done on this project... As much as I am mentally beat when I get home I still need to do something. But before that its the high school ski trip this weekend that I'm chaperoning for.

My garage is freezing cold right now. I was only out there for 5-10mins last night and had enough. haha Still need to add heat. Temp is hovering right around 0 today.

I didn't have these made from a drawing, I got them from LOLVTEC who got them from Craig aka Boner... I have no idea how he had them made up.

I could get something scanned in if you really want something

It's nice to have my garage heated but without the insulation it doesn't hold it long, so yeah right now its an ice box too.

Ahh... heated and insulated garages are great... oh and the lack of snow isn't bad either!

I don't have a problem with the snow, I love it... I just need to make my sanctuary warm enough to be out there anytime... My biggest dilemma is working with the post and beam setup since It's all rough cut exterior it has furring strips between the main boards and those do not seal out air water or snow to say the least... So I'm split on what to do. I've seen little piles of blown in snow coming from the cracks in the furring strips... It's a bit drafty in there when it's windy.

My two options are to pull the furring strips completely off and put a layer of insulation on the outside then moisture barrier and then another layer of rough cut boards to bring back it's original exterior look... that would be the most ideal since then the inside doesn't change at all and its fully moisture sealed from the outside... My other option is to cut and fit foam insulation into the post and beam work inside then remove the furring strips and fill the board cracks with expanding foam... This would work but its not the best and I don't end up with a true moisture barrier this way. Option 1 is wicked expensive with needing basically all new lumber for the exterior and option 2 just doesn't seem perfect... so yeah still undecided.

Jon, I'd be tempted to fill the area between the studs with insulation, put up the moisture barrier and drywall the bitch.

A guy on v6z24 had them CNC machine years ago.

If I remember correctly he was from Canada - hell that was like 8 years ago when I bought them.

Nice to see the getting some action.

spray on insulation (it costs a lot still though)

I guess I need to state that I don't want to cover the post and beam look inside the garage. So no drywall or spray on insulation
