I want one to keep my mint dash from becoming just another bubble. They serve that purpose. If I didn't have that to worry about I wouldn't bother.

i bought one by dash designs right after i got my car. it looks pretty damn good. you just have to pay attention to color matching. even the greys can be different shades.

Finally after 3 weeks of being stuck in the car port with a shredded serpentine belt.. I got the stock crank pulley and new belt put on the Aqua Z. I like driving my Malibu but nothing drives like a Beretta haha

I use my Dash Mat because
1. My dash is gray but my interior is black
2. My dash had a huge mountain of warp at the defroster section that I got tired of and actually cut off with an exacto knife. It looks great under the Dash Mat, can't see a thing!
If I had a nice dash, and didn't have to worry about it warping, I may not use one. But I have always kinda like'em.

Facepalmed at how dirty I've let it get with the non-stop snow and rain along with ungodly amounts of friggin' road salt on the roads. I hate Penn Dot with a heated passion. I swear they dump about half their bed in 1 mile.

Rotated heater core 90 degrees
...Rotated heater core 90 degrees to exit coolant lines through the firewall close to the engine tubes, not 1/2" away from my exhaust as they have been for the past 12 years in the stock beretta location. They now exit in the passenger firewall side. It all started when the original 1987 heater core with plastic tubes developed a stress crack in the engine compartment showing a class 3 leak as it is in military terms [drip hits the pavement].
It required modification of the mounting, SEALING of the core to the mount, custom cutting of the cover panel that covers the core [if this leaks you have no climate control whatsoever]. It took me 9 days at 4hrs each day, so I was not anticipating this kind of commitment as I underestimated this project. I mean, c'mon! I put a 3.8 from a 2.0 in the beretta, how hard can a heater core be! ...I almost put it back stock 1/2 way through it...
Best quality heater core ever, all aluminum with rotating tubes! no plastic!
company out of texas... ADPI or something. found on autopartswarehouse.com
I don't want to work on my car for another season.
...days later I had two flat tires in the same day, 2hours apart! yep, the spare was already being used... hahahah sunday night, nobody open... whattaday!

Rock Auto sells the all aluminum ones too. IIRC I have a SPECTRA PREMIUM in my car. The stock one was still fine last year but there were some cracks starting to show, nothing leaking yet.
