Off topic is off topic... I don't see why something that is "off topic" from a Beretta wouldn't be allowed there... now if it's NSFW stuff or just putting up porn links, that's one thing...

To add to Jon's point, a lot of the people that were "ruffling" the feathers back then aren't around anymore. This community is run by a different crowd now, and this crowd is much more accepting of things than the old crowd used to be.

It's a myth, it never really existed.

There was ONE miss understanding about an off topic post that has now swirled out of control. One user did as I noted before and tried to post random meaningless posts for their first 5 posts and when they were disproved with a canned reply of "off topic" they got upset over it and then proceeded to post more topics that would never pass approval, Hell if they didn't need to be approved I probably would have deleted them.

As noted off topic is off topic and yes you can post in the off topic section, but please also contribute to the site in some other ways as well, that's all we ask.

Damn, I guess that means the brake upgrade post for the fronts needs to be added/pinned. Maybe an OBDII upgrade post too.
