They are cheaper now than when I bought them the first time... 317 shipped for the front pair and it took 1 month to get... shipped from Koni to the US then to me.

Only issue is getting a set for the rear now... the Thunderbird ones are discontinued and the Saab ones are too long... they will bottom out with Eibach springs.

You should send me a set of bushings made of ss instead of bronze, i got a couple sets a kyb struts laying around, maybe ill put my old set to good use

I'll see what he's got for time, I think switching to steel bushings will be the best because they wont have to be made specific to each shock like I did before since you can tig or mig them into place, mine only have the centering bumps on the tube holding the insert down in the strut housing, there is a step milled on the inside of the bushing on top to do that.

Well here is the steel inserts welded in with a set of Koni's unfortunately these are the Jbodys so I don't have Mitsubishi ones to try and make sure they fit.

So how are the konis performing in our cars? I just noticed that my KYB strut seems to fail pretty soon so i am really looking into this swap. Jon, you dont got a set of front konis laying around i could get, do you?

I'm curious as well. The crappy Monroe struts I put on in 6/14 are shot to hell already. Really disappointed with my suspension at the moment. Preparing to crack the wallet.......

Well I have absolutely no complaints... Still running perfectly fine since installation and I love the adjustability.

Why would you question the quality of the koni vs a KYB replacement? That's apples and oranges.

I have Konis on my black car, and Bilsteins (B6) at white car, tho I can't fully compare since they have different springs and few other parts, but I can say the one with Bilstein rides miles better, Konis ride really rough but still soft at the same time, I think it's because they have only adjustable rebound but compression is weakly valved.

Better than Kybs anyhow.

Also, cranking up the rebound too much in Konis, can result up with bent control arms, cause it wont dampen the second or third bump on your way after it gets compressed at first one.
