Couldn't see that one as it expired.
You mean one like this?

I need allot more than just the rolling part, aside it being an automatic and a nice low mileage example.

looks like a fun project- makes me wish I would have kept one of the parts cars that I've had to do a rwd beretta. I've taken a couple down to skeletons and sorted out lots of parts... what parts are you tossing?

We might have to log-off of ebay to provide a logged-off link.
bbeck, the Beretta is stripped and most parts sold over the last 1.5 months. Check the classifieds for remaining items.
The last 2 months of research and chasing salvage yard leads has me competing with the salvage yards for wrecked or high mileage drivers. The more parts I purchase separately, the more it will cost. So I am looking for the whole package and will probably sell off the extras that I don't use.

The C6 wheel base is too long for the Beretta...unless I made the first stretch Beretta.

I have never heard of anyone doing it as the axle runs the center of the tube. But I sure it could be done.

i'd imagine its not that hard, my guess its just a few bearings and a drive shaft.

Yea I bet you could cut it down to whatever you want. The axle runs at less RPM than a standard drive shaft would, so balance is even less critical.

Good points. In recent years car weights have escalated. Now 400hp non-sports cars weigh 4000 lbs. Considering the C6 was designed with the heavier XLR in mind, it's driveline probably is not any lighter than the C5. Let alone magnetically controlled shocks and the computer to run them.
I'll stick with the easily modded LS1.
