Looks like I have K&N drop ins, MagnaFlow cats, SSBC rotors, Hyper Tech tuning, and some Center Force clutches.DTMAce wrote:Exactly. Hardly any aftermarket. Many mods are self made, such as much of my LED conversion work. There are others that have done some different things for our cars too. Sadly the aftermarket items are only shrinking as these cars age.
These cars were never designed to get that type of mileage, how's your fuel pressure at wot? I always go back to my original 3100 getting 480 to a tank and the pump was dying that's how I got mileage that good. Sleeper also speaks of a delayed start, that's another sign of fueling issues.beretta wrote:I get 550-625 on average in my 96 3100 auto... 550 if i hammer on it the whole time, and closer to 650 if i drive like a old man.DTMAce wrote:Ok, this post makes no sense.
And good luck hitting 550. Best I have done was 526 I think it was @ 36MPG. And that was with a V6 3100 Auto.
Mine? 3100 V6 auto.2.2H8TA wrote:So, this hasn't been answered yet I don't think. Is it a 4cyl or a V6? If it's a 4cyl, is it a 5 speed, or automatic? I'm also curious, what kind of mileage is on it?
That's about 40mpg. This does not compute. The best I ever got on the highway with my 95Z was 33mpg...and that was straight 100% highway.beretta wrote:I get 550-625 on average in my 96 3100 auto... 550 if i hammer on it the whole time, and closer to 650 if i drive like a old man.DTMAce wrote:Ok, this post makes no sense.
