Ok, so of course I get an email from the kid with the Z24 this morning and he has an extra fork and is bringing it to the cruise-in meet tonight.

It won't hurt to have a spare though. Two is better than none.

Do you really trust Loosenut? I wouldn't.

David95Z26? Whatever, doesnt matter. I have a fork in my possession, and a brand new one on the way from the dealer in MO.

I do need to push that POS Buick out of the garage though, and lots if it is bare metal now. So dad is pissy about moving it outside. haha

I thought you were talking about Lunatic Fringe... I wouldn't trust him. Also all those autoparts warehouse online stores are BS, I looked at all his links and they are of the same caliber of store front that already ripped you off.

Got some pics. Bought my JB Weld today for the spoiler and forgot to bring it to the garage. Whoops. But I did get all the urethane done. Just needs a 400 scuff. The 3M urethane filler is crazy expensive, $52 for what little I got, but it does work great.

Hey, just a tip. Pull those inner supports out of your front bumper so you DON'T paint them. Not difficult to remove, and it will look cleaner if they are black.

Oh they will be black, dont you worry. But I will not be removing them. I'm actually going to reinforce them and make them permanent. No smiley SS!

You should do what I did. Let me see if I can find the right pic.

Edit:

All I had to do is put in one support on the center rib. Made out of stainless too. And that is what keeps my lip looking straight as a pin. :D

I did see your pic somewhere. I will be making mine adjustable so I can fine-tune it if needed. Yours kinda frowns instead of smiling!

HAHA

It isn't frowning in the signature pic!

Mine will be very similar to that, but with a bolt, nut & jam nut for adjustment. I also have the 1/4" piece I made to channel air into the radiator differently the the factory duct work that adds support. That, without any additional bracing, kept my 95Z in line and feeds the CAI.

Car is in the garage. Clutch is in, fork is in, TOB is in and trans is in. I got some pics but left the camera at the garage. I was gonna finish it up tonight but had to go out for my mom's birthday dinner yadda yadda yadda.

I just need to install my front header, fan, some sensors and the subframes and it's out of the garage under its own power so I can paint bumpers, etc. All this needs to be done as well as the packing & moving process for my new place on Aug 1.
