Position the tray.

Welded up.

I measured a 1/4" difference from a stock tray so hopefully after reaming the holes for the ARP studs it works out.

Well to be honest I'd be happy with 220-230 WHP but I just don't have a clue what it will put down. Not many people dyno these setup nor do they have an automatic so I can't really guess as to what the power loss may be in comparison to some 5-speeds. I mean Geoff Morrow had 180whp with a very lightly modded 3400... Stock cam and compression... SO if I get 220whp and you take into consideration of the "standard power loss" 15% on manuals and 20% on autos... that would put Geoff at 212 Crank HP... and for me to reach 220whp I would have to be 275 crank hp.... that's not too crazy for a stock 3400 to heavily modded 3500 but its a 63HP gain over a stock 3400... that's quite a bit to hope for. Obviously these are all estimated figures and only time will tell....

Only thing I know for certain is the car would do 107-108mph in the quarter mile at 3175lbs... That puts the power at roughly 317whp to get it to that speed that's using online calculators, and if my nitrous was a true 100whp then I should have had between 200-220whp with my old setup. Once again unfortunately never dynoed.

My other comparison is I was getting 13.98's with 206whp with a lighter car... That was back with old red and dynoed 206 on the nitrous... Pinky was able to knock out some 13.9's N/A before I added all the body kit/paint hood, and brakes... now its' running 14.1's but I want to say it gained 100-150lbs and the additional rotating weight of the brakes, SO i guess you could say I was around that 210-220 mark N/A already so improving upon that is greatly desired. :)

Ahem... it's 184/204 at the wheels, thank you very much! And that was with my old wheel/brake setup.

No, literally, thank you very much!

Notice how much of a relief cut he made on the intake to thin out the seat area and help flow... Original picture of valves on the bottom before work

The finish is alot nicer than mine was from WOT, but i know you only need like a 50RA, which is absurdly rough to me to seal MLS, but your going graphite again correct?
I dont think you can use your 3400 heads on the 3500 block so i assume these are the 3500 heads?
If so is it time for P&P on this set too?
And those are the SI SS valves?
