Rednecks really are stuck in the old days... Time to get with it! Dump NAPA!

Exploded the Camaro's rear u-joint today on a redline 2-3 shift...hurt the custom driveshaft too, so I'm gonna have to buy a new one. Awesome.

In other news, I just loaded the 4L60E in the back of the Beretta to take it to the trans shop tomorrow. hahaha

Break your stock axles before you waste that money. It's very hard to break stock gm 5-speed axles

Avoid wheel hop and that day will likely never arrive. Mars was running 11s on stock axles.

No, I have a driveshaft loop. I'm gonna convert from 1310 to 1330 u-joint on this next driveshaft. It ups the torque rating from 500 to 700, and it's the same price (other than the pinion yoke that will have to be replaced.)

Ended up buying a 1350 driveshaft and yoke rated to 800hp and threw it in. So I did get to do the local cruise night with the Camaro and open cut outs. hahaha Tiffwad brought Dozer along for the ride so he was hangin out the window drooling all over my door.

I let her drive the Beretta to the show and it took home 3rd in the 82-91 class out of 6 cars. I don't know how 2 of any of those ugly 80s cars beat me, There was a decent 3rd gen, but that was about it. Nobody loves Berettas. haha

Ok I have to ask... Did you put your markers in backwards on purpose? Cause they look weird, in that the fronts seem to be red, the back ones look to be the amber lights, at least from that pic.

All the markers are red. Front signals too.

Clutch feels good so far. I haven't pounded on it yet, because it's my only practical transportation right now.

Rodney Dickman has some heavy duty Fiero ones that might work.
