Hell yeah. I already have a large history with them for computer parts, so why not? Though I have bought a lot from RA too.

There are an insane amount of people getting their hands on auto part distribution. Every time I turn around there is a new Advance, Autozone, Oreilly etc

People are fixing rather than replacing more often these days, that's why.

And the prices went up to. Autozone even messes with warranties. My lifetime Performance Friction Carbon Metallic Beretta brake pad warranty was tossed out of system. Initially i purchased them for $30.

I used to by new rotors for $11 each from Murray's(now Oreilly's)
When i did the wife's Dodge Journey I ended up ordering online. It was cheaper to ship rotors from NY than to buy at the local Autozone by about 1/2 the price.

Advanced auto only keeps records for 2 years and good luck having any receipt last that long... I guess thats how they screw you on the warranty. They say oh we can't find that info and you have no proof... I say its BS.

I've been rockautoing it up for a while now. Prices are so much better and you can get almost any brand. Plus I will typically see the stuff in less than 2 days from when I order.

As well as many of the local places don't even have stuff in stock for my car anymore. They always have to order it.

Yeah, Rockauto is tits. I try to support the local Napa on the little things, but Rockauto is way cheaper on the bigger ticket items. My radiator for the Beretta was like $90 shipped from Rockauto vs. $240 from Napa.

Autozone doesn't really carry a nice brand name of parts as others do, duralast stuff is practically junk other than the exception of brake pads I like theirs, but everytime I turn around with buying junk at Autozone I can buy the good stuff at Hovis auto supply one of the few places around that carrys alot of USA made parts and have it last a very very long time

I find it funny that O'Reilly's pushes their Master Pro junk China parts. Even to the point of raising the price to make people think they are good.
Then again BWD has gone down hill do to outsourcing.
I must say that there is some good things that come out of China, but they are very few and very far between. Companys are no long out for quality and are in it for the "Fast Buck".

The last radiator I bought was from Ebay believe it or not, and it was like 75 bucks or less.

I think I've posted this before, and if you have a local Advance Auto Parts, buy the parts online and use "pickup at store". There are usually nice discount codes at retailmenot.com, or my old standby of "P20" for 20% off seems to always work. While I do love RA, Advance seems better for me for those "warranty" items (brakes, mufflers, etc.) where I can take in the old part and my receipt and be handed a new one.

But thanks, did not know NE was now selling parts too, as has Amazon has been doing for quite a while.
