96 Z26 UPDATE

I managed to pay a dealership to do a power polish on my car to get the hard water spots out of the clear coat. I had tried clay bars etc to no avail. I recommend 3M perfect it rubbing compound. (Only if you have 3 hours to kill and a strong arm).
Here are some up close pictures that some of you requested. bare in mind its an iphone so it might not be the greatest quality.
The seat cover is still on from the dealership.
(for some reason the beretta looks jagged in the photos, thats due to my stupid paint program I used to resize the pictures)

WOW! Those must have been the easiest 60k miles in history. That thing looks absolutly PERFECT!
I'm also curious on what they charged you for that, but X2 on whatever they charged being well worth it.
I see it has a metric cluster in it, thats cool!

Super clean. I would be scared to even enter this car without taking a shower plus I would have to remove my shoes before I got in. To clean to get dirty. Nice work.

How much did it cost to get the polishing done?

Thanks guys! She is in show room. Never been driven in the rain or snow. I'll be putting her in the garage very soon for the winter.
The polish and interior shampoo with scotch guard was $300.
Well worth the money for me!
James is right. I'm pretty anal about my cars and in perticular this one due to the low miles and condition. Almost impossible to find anymore.
I love driving the red one also.
I just need to find a set of mint Z26 rims. I'd be willing to pay a grand for them if anyone has a mint set!

im a detailer myself at a Dodge Dealership (for three years)..too bad you didnt live near me cause i wouldve charged you half of that

...but the work looks great and compounding is such a pain in the ass!!!
im jealous of your dew strips!!!
please be sure to remove and bird crap and bugs of your cars ASAP!!! both of them are like acid to the paint..it will destroy the clear coat and more than likely you would either have to get it wet sanded or painted again
I suggest every car owner that actually take cares of their car is to wax it every 3-4months (at least 4times a year) and wash it minimum 3times a month

For $1000 you should be able to get your wheels professionally refinished to oem look

The set I have is in very good condition but I can't say mint... I need to get some photos of them up here.

Normally i would agree regarding them being professionally redone, however where I am there is only one place to go and I refuse to use them. They have 65 negative reviews on the Internet and unfortunately they have the monopoly here!
It's worth me offering a lot of money to find mint ones. (assuming they exist).
