Finally have my 1990 Indy

Will post some "before" pictures soon as I plan on a long term restoration but I drove to Wisconsin this past weekend to take delivery of a 1990 Yellow Indy. I know that doing a restoration on her is not a wise "investment" but I plan on keeping this one until I am using a walker. In any event, the Indy was in above average shape externally (no rust, body very straight) and mechanically (drove it 70-80 for 700 miles with no issues, no leaks, good power and very tight shifting) but she needs a little help inside.
My list for restoration includes:
Interior
New dash - its warped from too many days in the sun
New headliner - too many drives with all the windows down
New Carpet
Possibly new driver seat - no rips but left side support is beat up
Only one speaker works but radio is factory which is nice
Door panels are not horrible, but I would like to replace
Rubber window trim is brittle, cracked and breaking off
Mechanically
Will do all new belts
New AC/Retro
Flush coolant
Maybe trans flush but i have heard horror stories and its working great now
Check brakes
Check suspension maybe refresh struts, shocks
Dimmer switch is broke, car has brights only!
Want to clean it up
Exterior
Paint is faded in spots and clear coat is peeling on hood and spoiler but until I can source some decals I am not sure what to do here
Hunt down any hidden rust on underside or under hood - none on body
Wheels have some blemishes, no road rash but some discoloration
Maybe a nice tint job
Now a few questions for those in the know:
Can I replace dash with any 89-90 GT/GTU?
What else off a non Indy can be used?
Anyone know a good source for Indy parts?
Has anyone done an AC retro/replace? I am assuming the whole thing needs replaced, whats the cost?
Anything else I should look at on this Indy as part of restoration?
Special note and thanks to James M who I bought the car from. Good guy, was very honest and did his level best to rep the car properly knowing I was driving 700 miles to get it. I normally shy away from cars owned by those under 25 or 30 (no offense and yes I get off my lawn) but James seemed very mature and honest.
We struck a fair deal and the car was as advertised. Not sure he will be back to these forums since he sold the car, but it was the one in Sheboygan and I am VERY happy with the car and price paid.
Looking forward to being pretty active on boards, some good folks here!
