What i got is a 94 beretta 3100 auto and i lost all my gears no forward or reverse. Any ideas of what could cause this? Tranny oil doent smell burned at all and not losing fluid anywhere. Was wondering if the torque converter could do this? Or if theres any electrically things that could be causing this is there a computer just for the trans some where??

Is the linkage properly aligned? You may have it in "D" inside the car but the selector is actually in the middle. If that's not the case then you need to check pressure to the trans to make sure the pump drive didn't snap, and ensure the front electrical plug is connected if that is not plugged in none of the solenoids will work.

FYI you should see the speedo moving in reverse and drive in that case. If the speedo is moving you know the diff housing is turning. If speedo runs only spider gears, splines, or axles could keep you from moving at that point.

Glad you got it fixed
