'94 Beretta and Hello

Hello. New to the board and I figured I would share my Beretta story. In the summer of 1994, while working at a small Chevy dealer in Western PA, I talked my girlfriend (wife now) out of purchasing a Geo Tracker, a Pontiac Sunfire (4cyl) and a Geo Prism. I did talk her into a Beretta. She wanted the Hawiian Orchid color but settled on the white with burgandy interior. Oh, V6 btw. After two PA winters, we moved to Las Vegas. In 2005, I sold the Beretta to a friend and then bought it back a year later. So technically, my wife and I are the original 3rd owners. 177,000 miles later, time and the Vegas sun took its toll. Faced with the decision to get rid of it or "restore", we decided on the latter. Why? i really don't know. Its really been a great car. Well, here are some before and after shots and some parts....
Going to paint

New grille installed (with the old Chevy emblem) Funny the old emblem didn't quite fit in this grille I got from Rock Auto. Anyway, it's coming together but got a while to go.... Really need some different wheels.....

Was it a GM grille or something made in China? How much was it?

Yea it was a $20 cheap one. The emblem does fit, but it's a little higher than the original. I'm fine with it 'cause it sure looks better than the old one!

That looks great! Seems weird to see a Beretta with new headlights.
How much did the new headlights run you?

The Beretta and Corsica did not share the same grill that's a Corsica one pictured and wouldn't fit...

Damn, I know that... I didn't pay much attention and just grabbed the link to the first one that popped up on ebay, there are others as well though for Beretta's. You use to be able to get the black/red and black/silver grille emblems too on ebay for like $4, but I couldn't find them anymore.
