More convertible media

I came across this video today showing a very short clip of a convertible review:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjY4t-yU ... e=youtu.be
First of all, this is the only time I have ever seen the top in action. That alone is cool, but this car immediately jumped out at me for the pillar mounted seatbelts. This is one of three built to Canadian-spec, which were the only ones to not have door mounted belts. With only three built, it was a piece of cake to find this car:
1G1LV31T8LY157766
Red Exterior
Grey Interior
Black Top
Auto Transmission
Digi-dash
Canada Export
This was a production intent vehicle and was the 41st built.
I have been following up with other leads and contacts and will be posting my findings here. I have received feedback on one car and am trying to wrap up with them this week. There are four other cars I want to look into, and I have another C&C employee lead.

I wish GM would have left the GTU like it was. Those small details does make the Beretta look better. It's pretty cool seeing how the convertible top would have worked on the Beretta.

because regardless of how you do it when you remove the roof of the vehicle it folds in half... The frame structure was never built to support the removal of the roof and they were too cheap to re-design it... never mind make a hardtop version.

There has never been a production hardtop Corvette convertible. Maybe you're thinking a convertible with a removable hard top or a targa top?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks dished GTU wheels would look good - However, I still think it is a trick of the light and that they are stock GTU rims....
I need to find someone with a 3D printer and have a model made....

You sir are "tripping"
I took some screenshots of the very video linked above. There is a few seconds between frames. Watch as the light makes the rim "dish"!
