My 1991 beretta 3.1 gt has an issue where the fan will not come on when it reaches the proper temperature but I can get it to come on if I turn the A/C on. I have replaced the coolant temp sensor and still not fixed. What would you do at this point.

Fan will not turn on when it reaches operating temp, it will only turn on when it reaches around 230*f or when the a/c has is turned on.
Is your car overheating? Or whats the reason for checking the fan?

It will go to the red if I let it.Before deployment it would turn on before that point.

Thermostat is working and I got 245 on the housing than i shut it off because heat and aluminum doesn't mix. I am thinking its the relay

I'd have to see schematic.
But, if one fan, I would think ECM and AC-Max affect same relay...have to see relay's diagram to know for sure.

There is only one fan relay, so if it comes on with the AC then it's working.
Which temp sensor did you replace?
