I have both trannys out I got the trans from a 92 gtz now im told not all 92 got 3.94 fdr is there any way to tell without splitting cases?? any help please.

That's not true, every manual trans paired to a quad from 92-94 got the 3.94s. Only difference is 92 was the only year that had an external slave, after that they all were internal.
