Ok I have the wipers off the car but now have two posts sticking up is there some kind of kit to eliminate them or a cap to cover them? I painted them black so the blend in right now a lil.
Also how do you paint the vents and vent trim? I want to paint one or the other but not sure if the vents pop right out or not I have the dash out of my and in the process of re gluing the dash pad to the dash. But not sure what kind of paint to use or if the vents pop put or not!

Why no wipers? Are you racing and trying to save weight? If so, you should probably remove the motors. If you just don't ever plan on driving in the rain, I would say make better plans, but again, romoving the motors would probably take care of the posts sticking out. And you can probably paint the vents with any kind of plastic paint.

There is only one motor. They are run with arms from underneath.
You can probably remove them, but caps would be much easier.

Where would I find caps to fit over them? I am trying to get rid of them because I wanted the windshield to have a smoother finish with no wipers sticking up.

To remove the gears you'll first need to remove the plastic covers that span the base of the windshield. The easiest way to get the gears out is to also remove the wiper linkage. Use a 5/16" socket to disconnect the linkage from the wiper motor, then use an 11mm socket to remove the three bolts retaining each of the wiper gears. Remove the assembly, put the covers back in place, and you're done. Now to fill the empty holes left by the gears....
Whoops, had to correct some spelling

have you ever thought of wiper bay covers? just a shield that streamlines the whole area so you can't see them from the front/side but they still are there
