Need help finding part

I have a 90 Beretta with a 3.1L and the vacuum lines that run into the throttle have shrunk. There's 3 lines that run into this rubber thing that just easily falls out, and effects my idle. I don't wanna use silicon or any sort of glue to keep it in there. I was hoping to replace it instead with a new one.

Anyone know where I can find one or what it's called?

You can get the part from a junkyard. I couldn't find it on rock auto, but I may have missed it.

You may still be able to get that assembly new from GM as well. Stop in at your local dealer with a picture of what you need and see if they can get you a new vacuum line assembly. It's a common enough part that was used on multiple vehicles, so it may not be discontinued like most everything else is for these cars. Good luck and reply back hear and let us know what you find out if you decide to go that route. :)

Good luck on finding a new one. I remember that thing well, mine would pop out from time to time. See if you can find an O-ring that will fit around it.

Part #92, unfortunately not listed on Nalley GMC for a PN so odds of it still existing in a GM dealership are slim. They may be able to get a PN though and maybe check it on Vintage Parts INC to see if they have any.

Thanks 3X00-Modified, nearest thing yet. Think I'll try Money pit Beretta's idea and use O-Rings. I should have some that size.

I take it you guys don't have to deal with this, since you all probably have 3x00 engines installed?

If an OE part cannot be found, my approach would be to buy a Dorman HELP double-ended vacuum nipple that fits into the rubber grommet, then to cut back a bit of the plastic line and use a small piece of rubber vacuum hose to interface to remainder of the plastic line (or to run all rubber line to replace the plastic line entirely).

Something similar to this, may need one size on the grommet end and a different size on the rubber hose end.

On the turbo-charged 3.1 LG5s, they used a metal spring-wire that clipped over that assembly to keep the positive manifold pressure from blowing it out of place. You probably won't find one of those, but I'll bet you could duplicate it well enough. And no, not all of us are running 3x00 engines, far from that. They are very good power-makers, smooth and efficient, but for the older 2.8/3.1 MPFI crowd, they are not the easiest swap due to the lack of a front mount-boss, and the factory LIMGs were a joke on everybody. They are a different engine, not a better engine.

its call the vacuum harness, i haven't been able to fine a brand new one either. lucky a member sent me another from a junkyard car. The dealer told me it was discontinued. The part should be the same for pretty much anything with a 3.1

Or a Gen-II 2.8... I've seen a few with only two vacuum lines running out of the assembly though, despite the ports on the TB being the same.
