Go to Rockauto.com, look up the alternator for your car, click on the part # and it will bring up what vehicles use the same part. Their site is great for that.

It should fit without issue. From what I can see the 94-97 2.2L's had identical looking engine brackets.
Anyway, the CS130 alternators were commonly used in every GM from the late 80's-early 90's onward. They differ only by bolt pattern and plug position. Most serpentine belt drive CS130s from the mid 90's were pretty much identical.
I know because I tried about 5 different CS130s trying to find one to fit my V-Belt drive 6.2L diesel. It was an upgrade from the older crappier style alts. I had to buy one from an 89 Suburban w/350 V8 to get the right bolt pattern for my different alt. brackets. Most of them had the same bolt pattern/spacing, but had different clocking of the plug and/or case. If it don't fit right, you can try loosening the 2 halves of the case, rotating the halves and tighten it back up.
