The rules for 2008 state I can run different springs on my 91' beretta......but must remain stock size.
I heard that different style beretta's had different spring rates depending on the model.
Can someone tell me what year/model beretta had the stiffest/heavy load rear springs?
I want to run the stiffest rear spring in the right side that I can.

If you have FE3 suspension (GT/GTU/Z26, maybe V6 Base?), you already have the stiffest rear springs. The FE7 (GTZ/INDY/W26) springs are the same. If you have F41 suspension, swap in FE3/FE7, but not from a '95-'96' car as they have longer rear springs. Different springs with the same part number may have different codes indicating different stiffnesses. I used to have a list of codes, but for the life of me don't know where it went, so you may be on your own on that one.

Are they going to check your car before you race? The new springs will ride high at first, it will take some time for them to come down. It took mine a few months to drop down to where they are now. Get them in ASAP so they don't throw off your car in the turns.

I thought that I had more info on this, but all I got is the T= 3.1 V6 and the M=1991. That should be some help. I had to go to a auto parts store and ask them what I had on my car. It may help to them if you have the size of your swaybar.

Yeah, the 5th digit "W" means it's a GT or Z26

The RPO codes are on a sticker on the spare tire cover (if it's still there), and will tell you what options the car came with.

LHO is the engine code for the 3.1Lv6 (not 3100sfi but the 3.1mpfi)

my car never came with a spare tire cover. How else would i figure out what little options i have? Its a 96 base. What suspension would i have?
