lower ball joint FYI
I had my lower ball joints replaced at a shop and couldn't get a grease gun on the fittings. This may have been because the nuts were on the bottom instead of the top. There was no way to grease them and I got a 90 degree fitting for the gun that wouldn't work also. I bought some 45 degree grease fittings, but they ran into the control arm and wouldn't go on. The ball joints had to be taken off and the 45's were put on. I hope this helps someone avoid this trouble. If anyone has the bolt heads on the bottom and can grease the joints, please post so that I know what went wrong!

If you point the zerk fitting towards the outside, front, or back of the car, there shouldn't be any issue getting a grease gun on them...

I don't have any trouble now that I have the 45's. It was just the straight zerks. I should have put that in the post. Thanks though.
