well, as some of you remember i baught my white 91 gtz from a guy in new york, it used to be illusions gtz, ran a 14.92 in the 1/4 mile, it had some rust on it, and a few dings but wasnt real bad overall, i put my mint indy seats in it, my solar wing on it, it had the white wheels, eibach springs, koni's, front strut brace and rear adco sway bar, 3.94fdr trans, fidanza flywheel, ported intake and exhaust manifold and a 2.5 in exhaust, i sold it for $400 because it had a knock, i need'd it gone and at the time, need'd some extra cash to pay bills. i always kept in touch with the guy finding out what happened with it, i get a text that says "i work for a fire co, were going to cut the car up and burn it", he wants $900 for it and isnt budging in price, i dont have $900 plus fuel and a truck and trailer to get it, but it just piss's me off he'd rather chop it up then sell it back to me. figured id share, another gtz bites the dust as well as a bunch of good parts.

That seriously sucks, I'm sorry to hear about that. When I let my Z-26 go, I was lucky enough to have sold it to a good enough home that I can still get it back (again), especially now that it has been damaged so badly that the new owner (GTiIndy) doesn't have interest in fixing it back up. I just don't understand some people, why nothing, even courtesy and respect, mean anything to them. People like that are one of the many reasons this country is flushing itself down the toilet. This @$$-O won't even trade-off for another car that can be butchered???

i think it gives him satisfaction knowing lots of good parts someone can use are getting destroyed, seriously... he told me he is going to send me a picture when its done, he does that and the revenge would just be awesome... and those who know me, know im an ahole and dam proud of it.

...I am my own sensor. I realize that while I want to express what I want to express, this should be kept work-safe, and more importantly, somebody's kids could be reading this... Not trying to be preachy though (heck, look at my posts), but I don't see why we would have user-controlled editors?

The nerve. Who buys a car on the edge of classic and destroys it? Only a person who has never known the satisfaction of taking a car on the edge of the scrapyard and bringing it back to life would destroy a Beretta just for chuckles. I don't wish harm to anyone, but I hope his daily driver gets crushed by a tree or some other act of god. People who never had to work for anything have no respect for things of value. rant over
