i would get it from rockauto shipping was easy and clutch i got for my swap was only $40 + shipping

I guess it depends on how long you want your clutch to last... sorry but $40 on the part that connects the engine to the trans seems a bit cheap to me.

it was on clearance, I am actually surprised the clutch has 40,000+km without any issues grabs and seems to work fine. My setup is all stock 3.1 nothing crazy

In my opinion, it basically comes down to how much you want to spend and how long you want it to "likely" last. Clutchmasters are disputably the best. Spec clutches are pretty good. You can get some miscellaneous brands from rockauto.com including AcDelcos. I'm running a XTR 6 puck from ebay, they also make full face stock style clutches. I love it, but I bought it being prepared to replace it in 10k miles if I cooked it. A lot of OEMs use LuK clutches and I am a big fan of theirs.
