Hi everyone! I am obviously new here but, figured this may be the best place to ask. I am looking for a white Beretta preferably 1988 or similar in Michigan to borrow,rent, car swap...whatever terms may be needed for 1 evening. April 27th this year.

18 years ago, she asked me to prom & we dated for a short time after. We reunited just over a year ago & I now would like to reenact our prom night & propose to her. She had a 1988 white Beretta that we drove to the dance & so now I'm hoping to include that in the recreation.

Any help in sourcing one is greatly appreciated!

good luck, and if you do find someone willing to let you barrow theres, dont you think she'd catch on to what you were doing??? kinda takes away the "suprise" as soon as she gets in the car...

Wow - That sounds pretty cool!

These cars have become very rare (in good condition) so it may be a bit difficult to find someone that'll toss you the keys to their baby. Still, that being said, If there's a place where help could be found, it's here!

Thanks for the wishes of good luck! We have both been divorced & so vocally I have been reluctant to the marriage idea. I am taking her to Chicago next month. I plan on giving her a promise ring while there to symbolize our lifelong partnership. That will throw her off. I occasionally plan elaborate surprises for her so, she will think prom was just a fun elaborate date idea.

If i was in the area i would. Wouldn't say i have the nicest one but its white.

That is an awesome idea! I'd let you borrow my silver '88 GT that is my daily driver if I were closer to you. You should be able to find someone in your area though. Berettas are a little more common out east.

I have a White GTU, but I live in central WI. I'm not sure if the ferry will be running in April but if it is we may be able to work something out.

Thanks again for all responses! Unfortunately, I just found out that a close friend of hers is getting married that day, so plans are now changing. It would have been fun but, oh well, roll with the changes.
