Ok so I've been told my Cavalier 3500 swap will be welcomed here, so here goes. I physically have not started the swap yet, just in the process of collecting parts, so if you have anything that might help or interest me during the swap just let me know.
Here's my car

So anyways, here's a list of what I have already:
-92 Cavalier
-95 Beretta (my current DD but will provide some helpfull parts in the swap)
-F1 stage 2 clutch
-'03 alero injectors, rails, injector harness, FPR, and lines
-Moates memcal adapter
-external crank trigger
-front mount (it is a J body with the 3.1)
-chip from Superdave on v6z24
-lx5 tb and adapter
-throttle cable bracket is being made
-Gonna use my 3.1 log manifolds until I can have a downpipe for the 3400 manifolds made, or headers.

I'd use headers; that's where a lot of the potential is unleashed.

Even the 3400 manifolds make a big difference. Back in '06 my car with 3400 manifolds and 2.5 downpipe ran 15.2 similarly equipped to another car using 3100 manifolds running 15.8 IIRC.

yea I've been finding stuff for cheap. $40 for the whole fuel rail assembly including injectors and harness. Bought a LX5 TB for $40 on ebay as well. Just got back from the hardware store with solder and heat shrink so I can do up the harness now. I'll post pics later.

The problem is with the 3400 manifolds, i'd need to make a custom downpipe. I don't really have access to a welder at the moment. I'm just using the 3.1 logs for now to get it running and can always upgrade it later. Hell I got the 3100 in the beretta maybe I can use those instead if I don't have to modify much.

The 3100 manifolds suck. Not worth your time.

I advised him to use the 3.1 logs since this is a budget swap and the downpipe will run to much for a piece of crush bent tube that a exhaust shop will bend. Better worth it to do with mandrel when he has more cash himself.

Exactly what I was going for. Trying to get my previously daily driven car back on the road before my beretta's tranny takes a crap on me. My plan is drive my beretta to the ground and use some of the parts from my beretta to help with the swap.

Then after the swap is done, I'll strip the beretta down and sell the parts to make some of my cash back. Engine still runs great, most of the body panels are good yet, and lots of people on here will love the interior panels and such.

I know it's sad. but the structural rust is just too much to even be comfortable selling it. I think it's time to say my goodbyes. But these hard to find parts will find a good home and live on.

LX5 TB and WOT-Tech adapter came in the mail today!! Too bad my phone's broken and can't take any pics. TB needs a cleaning bad though.

Damn the site went down and I lost my post. Well the point was that I hate rust and I'm tired of fighting it.

This sucks. It's been in the 10's all weekend and windy. I need a garage to do this swap in.
