I am wondering if anyone would be interested in sticking around for an extra day for some Road Course Action on Sunday, June 23rd?
A local radio personality and co-host of Two Guys Garage on Speed, Willie B is throwing together a little track rental at High Plains Raceway (www.highplainsraceway.com) for some open lapping. He is sill working on pricing but regular cost is $150 for a full day or $90 for a half day and he said he is aiming for less then $100 for the full day and I'm pretty confident that he will end up getting an awesome rate.

The main reason I'm asking is when I was messaging him this morning I brought up that BerettaFest was that same weekend and asked if he may consider doing a live broadcast of his Saturday show "Willie B's Garage" (a radio talk show all about cars) at our Show/Picnic the day before?
His response:
"yeah man i'd for sure hype you guys up if you were to be rolling to that event on 23rd.. that would be a really cool tie in!!"

So, that would be huge! He would no doubt interview some of us on air about our cars because, 1.That's what he does at the live broadcasts during the summer and 2. I already told him that some of us have done some amazing things with these cars.
The only catch is I'm thinking we would have to produce some numbers for this track rental on the 23rd in order to get him there on the 22nd.
What do you all think?

If I was able to make Bfest this year I would be in.

Effin' eh, if I had the time to stay on Sunday I totally would, but I have to be back to work on Tuesday and it's a two day drive =(.

I would be interested, I just dont know if we can stay that long eithier. Thats what would hold me back.

Yes to clarify, this would not be a BerettaFest event. Just another bonus! The only part that would be tied into BerettaFest would be the Radio Show on Saturday.

I would be more interested in a road course than drag racing. With the thin air in Colorado no one will run good times, anyway. So it would be more fun to road race IMO.

Oh and Mike, yes I'm coming as long as work OK's the vacation time. Shouldn't be a problem though. We're going to go out early and stay with Tiffany's sister a couple days.
